my story

RYAN DALLE CORT

Hi, my name’s Ryan Dalle Cort and I’m grateful that that our paths have crossed.

In 2014 my parents were ready to retire. They’d spent 31 years sacrificing the quality of their own lives to repay a mortgage following a smart retirement plan to build wealth through the value of their land.

Like anyone approaching retirement they needed to know they were in a strong financial position to let go and move into the next stage of their lives. And what a great next stage they had imagined: travel, a new car, a modern home, and all the things they’d sacrificed throughout their working life.

Yes, they were eager to sell but they weren’t just going to let their land go to the first bidder.

They had set a plan in place all those years ago: the sale of the property would fund their retirement and they could step comfortably into their golden years.

Watching their dreams disappearing

But when the offers started coming in they were way under what they needed to live on. In fact the offers weren’t even close to the amount they’d need to live the lifestyle they hoped for, and it was a shock.

Selling below their reserve price would mean all their years of sacrifice were in vain. All their hard work while delaying their own fulfillment a waste. They really didn’t know what to do.

Turning it around

But it was very clear to me what they needed.

After all, I’d been working for more than 10 years in property development. I could see that developing their land was a good opportunity and decided to help them go beyond their dream of simple comfort and a few nice things in retirement to real wealth and freedom of choice.

This foresight made leaving my highly paid job in one of Australia’s largest residential developers much easier.

My other projects and the successful completion of my family’s residential development in 2018 has provided us with opportunities and a life we couldn’t have achieved through any other means.

Something had to change

However for myself this wealth came at a price.

As the journey for material success had driven my mind so far outward.

Incredibly focused on get, get, get get

  • Getting things done
  • Getting acknowledgement and respect
  • Getting new projects
  • Getting money
  • Getting nice possessions

I was drinking, partying and buying new things to numb my internal pain and to justify the life I was living.

My internal suffering became to overwhelming and I decided that something needed to change.

Shut out the outside world and your internal world will wake up.

The experiences that followed made me understand that I had the game all wrong.

As I drove my mind inward no longer allowing the external world to distract and entertain me amazing things started happening.

Now deciding not to invest the majority of my time, energy and focus into things and meaningless experiences I was now investing into meaningful experiences and into the health of my mind, body and soul by replacing bad habits with good ones.

I now understood that it was ok to achieve success and wealth but that this shouldn’t come at the expense of the health of my mind, body and soul.

That true happiness would only be experienced by living in the present moment. Since the present was all we really had. With the past and future only simply being a combination of present moments.

For the first time I started to enjoy the journey.

My journey has just begun

My experiences over the last 2 years have had such a significantly positive impact in every aspect of my life.

Making me a better property developer, entrepreneur, human and a lifetime learner and contributor. I have so much to give and want to help you create wealth and opportunities in property development, real estate, business and in every aspect of your life.

Life is too short to waste and I’m now committed to making every second count.

Let’s succeed in property and business and on focus on what matters; spending time with family and friends, making an impact helping others, having fun and living a fulfilling life enjoying the epic experiences life has to offer.

“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people

get what they want.
